Just heard we lost a great Pitt man and athlete. Bimbo Cecconi passed away today at the age of 95. One of only 4 Pitt athletes to win 9 letters. In the Penn State game of 1949, he had 3 interceptions, ran for 2 touchdowns and passed for another. He was the Pitt coach who recruited Tony Dorsett before Johnny arrived. A great athlete from Donora and an even greater human being. LEGEND!!
