in the US Open Cup on April 19. Really stupid to not have lower division host these games to grow the game and build fanbases. I would 100% go to a Riverhounds vs MLS game. I went to the DCU game a few years ago and the atmosphere was pretty great.

So the riverhounds won that US Open match the other night where there were literally 8-10 people in the crowd? You’d think the wives and girlfriends from their opponent should have accounted for at least a dozen people.

Which beer league team did they play?

Maryland Bobcats. Their "beer league" goalie has been capped 19 times by Sierra Leone. They also have a goalie on their roster who has played for Ghana. No idea why a team in that league would have two such goalies

Let’s just say the US Open Cup isn’t exactly the FA Cup.

Well heck they had a completely empty stadium, just wind the Chick-fil-A line through the bleachers.

You may not know this, but the funny thing is that they used to have Chick-Fil-A at the Riverhounds Stadium and some of the supporters, probably the six that went to the Open Cup game, protested because of, well, you know why some people protest against Chick-Fil-A, no sense in getting into that here.

If the Riverhounds were smart, they would advertise their games as a Chick Fil A pick up location but you have to stay and watch the game for 15 minutes to get your order. They'd always have a packed stadium.

That’s why I brought it up. I knew it was sold there before being removed thanks to the 6 loyal fans.

You guys aren't soccer fans, you don't support your local team or help it grow, or any team in America, you are stifling the growth of US Soccer. SMF only goes to see visiting teams. Why would you want to go see Cincy FC? I've seen them play this year, they are loaded with 2nd rate South Americans :)
