I dont know how Andy Toole does this but if I told you that Capel signed a kid with offers from Creighton, Dayton, URI, UMass, St. Jospeh's, and Duquesne, you'd think in the future, hopefully we can do better than that but for right now, we'd take it. Well, Andy Toole beat those schools for Philmon Gebrewhit, 6'7 F from Mass. Its hard to imagine that he had commitable offers from all of those schools but probably did from at least a few.

On the one hand, I say, great job, Andy, on the other I say, start preparing to replace him because he's going to transfer up eventually. Heck, maybe RMU can be Pitt's farm team

I know I’m impressed with the add too. (St. Bonnaventure also offered him too I think btw)

Now today he finished the class by adding a top 80 JUCO PG who averaged 17 a game & shot 41% from 3.

With really only Burke leaving, RMU could be really good next year.

Speaking of RMU....Tray Woodall has now been upgraded to “assistant coach” per Jon Rothstein.

Andy toole seems to embrace that job. If he had the desire to get some media attention, he would be wise to do some premeditated whining to espn or some media outlet and become the voice of mid and low major teams that get poached by big time schools.

So to fast track this process can PITT launch a "hostile takeover" and acquire RMU Hockey ?

Of course what no one has said is that with all that superior talent they’ve had losing seasons 3 years in a row while playing in the lowly Northeast conference. How many more can he afford before his job is in jeopardy?

If he has all these superior players why can’t they win at the lowest of levels?

Recently...there has mainly be the one talented player with a bunch of other players that could be good & show flashes but are still young. (15-16...Rodney Pryor show with Isaiah Still as a freshman, 16-17...I.Still show with Burke as a freshman. This year /17-18/ the Burke show with Jon Williams & Bain as a freshman & Josh Williams (Akron Transfer) redshirting.

That’s what happened this year. They had some young talent but Burke was sometimes a 1 man show.

Matty McConnell, who was a junior this year, was also way to inconsistent with his shot. He plays really hard & is a great defender but RMU needs him to be better.

This year upcoming tho, I am excited about now. They have basically three 3 star players on the roster with some good players to go around them.

Just need to add a solid big man with the last spot & they could be real good we’ll see.
