Rob Carmody.

Although he was a dominant HS player at Mars, at this point there is no indication that he is a high major DI player. I would guess he just wants to actually get on the court somewhere

I don’t really get the hate with this guy

Passed on Pitt... Brother passed on Pitt... got all intense at the end of the game against ND... tried classlessly scoring a layup as time expired. F him. He should transfer to the workforce, because he wouldn't even start on the team I'll be playing with at South Park this summer.

That's a lie, but F him anyway.

I'm okay with it if you're beating the shot clock and not the game clock. I know some teams will just hold it and take the turnover, but a former walk-on beating the shot clock just feels different. But if the shot clocks are turned off, the etiquette changes, in my opinion.

Fair enough, good point.

The shot clock and game clock were virtually even when Fisch scored. The game was over for all intents and purposes, just like when Carmody tried to score.

Carmody might be unlikeable for multiple reasons, but it's hard to criticize him for what he did when we were in practically the same situation the game before and actually did score.

Fisch was the dagger that ended Boeheim's career.

Fisch should always be remembered and celebrated for that accomplishment!

Both benches were emptied and guys were competing. Walk-ons (and I know Fisch technically isn't that this season) trying to score during that situation is a tale as old as college basketball.

Notre Dame also had a dunk with like 14 seconds left when they could have held it. I'm not complaining about that. But Carmody shooting a layup at the buzzer and the signaling to count it was douche city.

Its easy to criticicize him. He is a scholarship player. Heavily recruited. Started games as a freshman and then got hurt. He tried to score on Pitt vs literally no defense at all. Fisch was a manager who only scored a few baskets in his career. Syracuse was still playing. Had they stopped and started walking to the bench and Fisch raced in for an uncontested layup, I would say that was a bad move. Carmody racing upcourt to beat the clock against no defense at all shows you the type of douchebag he is. Good luck at Point Park.

My guess is he goes to Duke or UNC. I wouldn’t count out Kansas or Kentucky though.

I have a source that just confirmed that Kentucky has offered him to wash the players' balls after games and practiced. Daddy must be proud. Surely more cell phone videos of that to come. Calipari likes helping out Pgh kids so good for him.

Kentucky has a machine that already does that.

Someone lied to you.

Look for him to end up at RMU…where I’m sure his attitude will be welcomed by Andy Toole with open arms. That should be a fun watch.
