Lots of positive stuff in this post.
1) We are shooting 45 percent from 3 point range in our last 3 games. That’s 11th in the nation. For the season we average about 9.4 made 3’s per game which is 20
nationally.
2) We are up to 74 points a game. And 39 points average for second half. And 81 point average in our last 3 games.
3) We are up to 14.5 team
Assists per game.
4) We are only giving up 67 points per game. And just over 34 point average a game in the second half. We are plus 5 points after half time adjustments against opponents.
5) We are 3rd overall in conference and ACC play for effective scoring defensive shooting percentage among all ACC teams. On the last 3 games we are top nationally allowing only 43 percent.
6) This really surprised me. We are only giving up 31.8 percent to our opponents when they are shooting 3 pointers. That puts us at 4th among all ACC teams factoring in non conference and conference play.
7) I won’t post the stats because I am trying to pick my kids up from school. But our offensive rebounding, causing turnovers, and 2pt opponents FG percentage are all very poor. But I think that isn’t a surprise to anyone.
I have more to add in this thread that is more analysis and not just stats. But I have been watching these stats very closely this year. And we have had strong improvements in many areas.
