Back when Maverick verbally committed to Pitt, I read that Ron was his father. My memory of Ron was that he was a jerk, but I can't remember why. I know he played for ND and transferred to St. John's and that he was from Beaver Falls, but that's about all I can recall. Did he transfer because he wasn't the star of the team at ND? I think he was a starter, or at least played quite a bit, while he was there.
