With the currrent roster, that leaves room for 19 in the freshman class with 16 current commits.

Looking at some of the players, I can see a couple other 5th year seniors who probably already graduated that are not earning a lot of PT leaving (Devon Edwards, Zach Poker, Zach Challingsworth, Rachid Ibrahim). Jalen Williams keeps getting moved around and no PT. Ollison look for greener pastures? Grimm or Tipton tired of all the injuries?

A couple things I took away from doing this:
1.) Reeves, Carrigan and Sear are all staying at TE. We literally have nothing there.
2.) I think the class will be 23 and still has 7 more to add.
3.) NEED more OL bad. I say take Fedd-Jackson and Munford if Munford doesn't get the OSU offer.
4.) Need to grab at least 2 more DL.
5.) Need more DB's with Wade being the crown jewel
6.) with 7 more spots to fill up, we're going to hear a lot of new names surface over the next 4 weeks

Depends, I think the pass rush could be better if we use our more athletic linebackers to blitz some more.

I agree... But it will be an unknown. Like MacV may be fantastic too, but to expect him to be better than peterman next year Williams be insane. Pitt has the second most sacks in the country this year mostly due to Price, and will need a push rush with the down 4 to be successful next year. I think we have the guts to get that pass rush, just need someone to step up big

All 19 Sr's had a 'ship, including the guys who started as walk ons. Then you add Reese, Baker, and a couple more possibilities. They could eventually bring in close to 25 if they wanted to.

Schneider is not on a ship as of now, may or may not be offered, Gilbert medical uncertain. Could possibly open up 2 more ships. Think Pitt takes 23-25 recruits this year.

It's not for a count of who is on ship this year, it's for a count of who's on ship next year to determine how big the '17 class will be.

I didn't miss Ibrahim, he was moved to LB.
I've heard they believe Gilbert will be able to play next year.
I don't see how Schneider DOESN'T get a ship. You really think they'll go MacVittie, DiNucci, Pickett next year and not offer the experienced kid who took snaps with the team all year?

I hope he stays also. He's by far and away my favorite RB left till I see Sibley.

I can absolutely understand the point of view from Ollison, he is a 1000 yard rusher at a P5 school that is now no longer carrying the rock. But for selfish reasons I hope he stays but he may want to try his luck elsewhere if he feels he won't be the starter any longer.

Hill was a big loss this year. But Ford will be here next year. Pitt is rebuilding the defense and certainly that is the major project. Not worried about QB in that the RB and OL will be fine. Add in Henderson and Weah and Clark, offense still looks formidable. As Nardzzi stated, the redshirts will turn some heads next year. My expectation is the defense will be much better relative to how bad it was this year.

George Hill was a huge loss for the team. Can you imagine a guy who looked like he was faster than Henderson and Ffrench running the jet sweeps!
