He needs to add about 20lbs of muscle to become Chevy.Chevy Troutman. Just has that knack.
Isn't he 0-for-the year from the arc?? No treys made since Hawaii?? I like the kid's game...but he's not a sniper.I love that he can shoot the 3. Looks like the kind of player that Wisconsin has had for years. Can play with his back to the basket and can also step out and shoot.
Never saw it, must have been deleted. Never heard of that poster either.I think the post the other day claiming he was the worst recruit of the Dixon era to be maybe the single stupidest post on this forum. The kid is a talent and is the prototypical Dixon/Pitt player who gets better every year.
Dixon has always made his money by coaching kids up. It doesn't always work, but most of our best players have followed that route.I think the post the other day claiming he was the worst recruit of the Dixon era to be maybe the single stupidest post on this forum. PItt hoops fans should know better than to make such statements early in kids careers.. I wanted to quit being a pitt fan watching Wanamaker play as a freshman and even a sophomore.. Two years later, I wanted Pitt to build a statue of him..Dixon has always made his money by coaching kids up. It doesn't always work, but most of our best players have followed that route.
I think he will even be better. But if that is who he is, yeah that's fine.Luther is Levon Kendall and that's just fine by me.

I also recall many, including SMF, saying he should transfer after his freshman year.
I've always envisioned him as a Tyrell Biggs type of guy but I agree that a comparison like that or Kendall might ultimately sell him short.
I can see even Donatos in him as far as his ability to step out and shoot the 3.

He cannot defend the 5. At least not at this point.I really think Luther should be starting at the 5. Seems to be our best offensive option there and is very tough while he is also the only one defensively who hasn't been in foul trouble most of this season early on. If not the starter, he at least should be an option off the bench who gets a ton of minutes at the 4 and 5 positions.

Yeah that was why Biggs always crossed my mind. Perimeter oriented post who rebounds well and can defend the 4 and 5. Zavackas never was a great rebounder, Luther seems to be a bit better there.
If he can shoot like Zavackas and defend/rebound like Biggs I think that's the best case scenario for sure.
Maybe 45 ....................He needs to add about 20lbs of muscle to become Chevy.
Donatas may not have been a great rebounder but it "seemed" to me like he was great at boxing out his man so others could get rebounds. I wonder if there's a stat for that!
Like a +/- for rebounds? Get to work thirteenNine!
