Well, it's raining hard in Blacksburg today again, flash flooding everywhere and even mudslides being reported. There is a 90% chance for rain Saturday. Basically it's been raining since Friday and hasn't let up much, and will continue throughout the week.
With that said, Virginia Tech played a pretty bad game this past weekend in some really bad weather. Motley is still learning how to throw the ball, and with wet conditions again, I can't see him throwing much especially if our defense can be aggressive. I also don't know how I feel about Peterman this weekend. Saturday may be a mobile QB day, as we saw with 3rd string ECU QB. Motley is mobile, but their running game overall is way down due to numerous injuries in the backfield.
Our running game is still a question mark, but boy does this game seem like a perfect opportunity for Voytik. He did a great job last year against VT, but we also had Conner at near 100% also.
So I just don't know about this game other than calling it a toss up. Not quit sure what the game will look like, other than the fact that it is 11:00 am and looks like it's 7:30 pm outside. The crowd will not be very excited if it rains like today.
