The Thursday night home game on a short week is the only one that sucks.

Its imperative that we win the first four when you look at the middle part of the schedule. For once can we overachieve and go 9-3 which would mean a 5-3 ACC log which is very doable. Having to go to Atlanta. Again for the third consecutive year is absurd so after the 2023 season we will have played them four years out of five at their place. And do you remember the terse handshake after the game by Collins ?

That’s your take on our schedule?
It can’t be easy the ENTIRE season.

Yes it’s my take and it should be easier than this.

We have played Clemson the most out of any of the coastal teams I believe. Now it’s sandwiched between two rivalry games. Ga tech away 3 years in a row. UNC on a short week after traveling.

The ACC’s objective isn’t and it shouldn’t be to make our schedule as easy as possible.
The only reason we’re playing Clemson more than other Coastal teams is because of the messed up covid schedule last year. The same for why we’re playing at Ga Tech three years in a row.
If you don’t like playing Thursday night games I get it, but it’s not unfair. UNC has to travel to play on a short week, it’s EQUALLY challenging for both teams.
As far as Clemson being sandwiched between Miami and VT. It’s not perfect, but I guarantee every team in the conference has stretches they don’t like. Again the schedule makers job is not to make the schedule as easy as possible for each team. And c’mon VT is probably a 6-6 team this year.

Pitt should be 12 - 0. There’s not a team on the schedule that Pitt shouldn’t beat.

The schedule is set up pretty nice for Pitt. Plus the off week in the middle of the season is great. Playing North Carolina five days after Duke on a Thursday night is not good for Pitt but if they have a winning record could be fun game.

The UNC on a short week doesn't bother me as UNC is on short week too.

We all know the odds of it actually happening, but Pitt has to come into the season with eyes on winning the division title. From that perspective, it sucks having to play Clemson again as that is a tough W to get and our most likely competition for the division (UNC and Miami) don't have to play them. So, we are sort of starting at a disadvantage for conference record. Besides that nuance, getting Clemson at home is very exciting game for Pitt. Pull off the upset though and we are 2-2 against Clemson last 5 years.

Interesting note on UNC and Miami, I believe both have Florida State and NC State as their Atlantic opponents this year. We need one of those Atlantic schools to pull it together and have a big year and knock off both UNC and Miami. UNC also plays both Notre Dame and Wake Forest as non-conference games, gotta love the ACC.

Most on the TN board don't seem to consider the Pitt game much of a challenge and pencil this in a s win.

Guaranteed wins:

UMass, WMU, NH.

Should be wins:

Tenn., GT, Cuse, Duke.

Toss Ups:

UVA, VT.

Should be losses:

UNC, Miami

Guaranteed Loss:

Clemson

Need to at least split the 50-50 games.

What game did he win last year that he shouldn’t have won?

pretty sure VT. they were favored even though we blew them out.

The team that finished with a losing record and their coach only be retained because of the buyout, can’t be an example of the Narduzzi magic.

They should get 9-3 out of this schedule. Will probably go 8-4.

Losses to Miami, Clemson and UNC for sure. I am going to go with the loss to Tennessee as well for the probable 8-4.

I don’t believe they are better at O-line and probably won’t be for another year or 2. They will still be pass heavy forcing tough situations for Pickett. Defense should be solid but will get beat deep on the strength of Clemson, UNC and the new Heupel driven Tennessee offense.

Not complaining. Would be happy to get 8 wins. Ecstatic to get 9 with a shot at 10 in the bowl.

Here is TV for these games.

Nov 27 at Syracuse Ending the season on the ACCN at Noon.

Wait, the Steelers play Thursday night game same week as Pitt? Again?? That has to be like the 3rd time in last 5 years. I mean the Steelers play like one TNF game year and so the ACC has to schedule Pitt that one night every year?! I tell you there are some undercover Hoopies working in the league office!

Yes. Clearly recruits has an inside source at both the ACC (which is how he knows what time all our games are going to be played and what television network they are going to be on) AND the NFL (because he is literally the only person in the world who knows right now which games are schedule for which dates next season).

In fact I'm not even sure that he isn't the guy who MAKES the ACC television schedule and the NFL schedule every year. He's multi talented.

ACC/GT still making Pitt pay for bringing that brother to the Sugar Bowl back in '57. "You boys think we forget that insult to our southern confeder... err... hospitality?"
