for my son and his friends, that attend Marshall but also cheer for Pitt! 15 Yardline, row A, 10 bucks! Can't beat that with a stick.

It depends on the age of the kids. If they're young enough, they might like being down close to the action.

Some of y'all really seem to enjoy raining on someone else's parade.

Why are those seats not great ? I guess you have to see over the players etc?

They won't know any better, stupid college kids. Lol

You can see over the players. If the play is away from you though (ie. down the other end of the field), you can't see what is going on. If the action is right in front of you, it is awesome. Just like sitting on the glass at a hockey game.

But everyone has their own preference. Have a good time and that is a great price!

The overwhelming supply of tickets for the smallish Pitt fan base always makes it a "buyer's market" in the secondary ticket market outside of marquee games like PSU or ND. Pitt doesn't have a fanbase that can fill a 70K seat stadium.

Pitt has a diehard crew of 30K fans. 40K show up if we dont suck. 45-50K if we are pretty good. 55K-60K if we are playing PSU, ND, or a one-off like FSU.

I have 2 season tickets myself each year, and he wanted to come and bring a friend, win win as I see it, two more at the game.

Well I guess it comes down to what you are looking for. Seats down that low have no depth perception on what's happening on a play, unless it's a play that is happening right in front of them. If you sit higher up you can actually see what is going to happen before it happens. For instance when the Penn State quarterback threw that pass at the end of the game a couple weeks ago as soon as the ball left his hand I said to my friend that the pass was going to be intercepted. There is no way you could see something like that if you were sitting in the front row.

There is a reason that coaches "film" the games from a very high up viewpoint rather than a field level camera. From up high you can see everything. There is a reason that the most expensive seats at almost all stadiums are higher up. Because you can see what is going on in the game better. But as I said, that isn't what some people are there for. To each his own.
