Scoring and being scored on

Excluding the Villanova game Pitt is averaging just over 39 points and giving up just over 36 points per game. Obviously this is great offensive point production but miserable scoring defense results.

If major improvement can be made defensively this could be a great team.

Most games in college football are high scoring. The defense will improve once we get more talent on the field, but teams are still going to score points.
