I’d hate for Wright State to lose him, but if they do it would be to my first favorite team. He is 51 years old and has a pretty good success rate. HTP!

I hesitated super long to bring his name up but damn wtf is Pitt doing?

He would be a good hire. He has rebuilt a couple programs.

Surprised his name hasn't come up at all. I really for the life of me can not figure out how someone like mark Schmidt comes up, and Scott Nagy not even a mention, even Nathan Davis.... no mention. I'm starting to wonder if this search firm is doing anything at all.

Maybe they interviewed, but their agents didn't leak it like some(most) of the others.

Yeah that's why I'm just wondering and not fully criticizing, we don't actually know. The suspense is killing me but the quietness has me thinking there is something going on behind the scenes that involves a dead period of waiting around.

I hear you. I've been on the board way too much lately, but now that no one really seems to know what's going on, I've calmed myself down because there's really no point in getting stressed. Whatever happens, happens, and we have to live with it whether we like the hire or not.

I really don't want to see Pitt go this far down to find a coach, but if it came to it, I like Steve Forbes. Excellent winning percentage, and as an assistant at big schools, has a rep as a really good recruiter.

This is a total last resort option, and once you get down to this level, forget about generating excitement for your fanbase.

This is what I mean though. I hear the name mark Schmidt, just an awful idea. Forbes though, not bad, at least in terms of just names a search firm can throw at you. Unless they've interviewed a hundred candidates we haven't heard about, I really think you or me could've come up with enough names for Pitt to consider and keep busy.

Wright St... isn't that where JD interviewed before he got the job here? I like Nagy. I do think Davis could be a great hire.

Brownell went from Wright St to Clemson. I think.

Hoping to keep Nagy in the Dayton area. Been to more Wright State bb games than Pitt bb games. I did go to the game where Pitt played at Wright State wearing my Pitt gear, people were like, wtf?

On a side note, I also went to the Pitt at U Dayton game where Fields busted his ankle or something.

I mean who knows, pitt is going on a state wide tour to interview every candidate so who knows who they haven’t interviewed

They seem clueless as f:;k, I mean, holy crap, you fire the coach, and release almost the whole team that got a full season of ACC experience and must have been chomping at the bit, and only have like 2 or 3 official recruiting visits left?!?

Pitt gets most of the official visits back when they hire a new coach

I did not know that, and if that that is true, who ever put that out there is either irresponsible or anti Pitt.

I going to look at where I saw that now, I am so pissec.
