Scrimmages....Be Careful of Results

Just a reminder......In 2009/10 Syracuse lost a pre season scrimmage to LeMoyne College.
LeMoyne by the way is a Division 11 college. The effect on Syracuse's season?.....They
went 30-5 and won the Big East regular season title and went to the Sweet Sixteen.
You can draw your own conclusions on the meaningfulness of pre season scrimmages. There have been other similar results over the years. Not being at these scrimmages, or not viewing it (tv, internet, etc.) there's no way to know what coaches are doing with alignments, approaches etc.
