Joe Madden was recruited to play football at Pitt in 1972. He chose to go elsewhere and play baseball. He is from the eastern part of the state. That picture is pretty ironic. Maybe a good sign for the Cubs

I heard him do an interview this year where he talked about coming to Pitt as a high school senior for a recruiting visit
