I don't see any clue that Narduzzi is a good head coach other than his tantrum abilities. He's top 5 in that department.
First clue is he's put an end to us losing games to sub-par teams, unlike Chryst (YSU, Akron). That was a big first step. We now also beat the lower to mid-tier ACC teams with regularity. That was another clue. We are competitive in the big games with ranked teams and now just need to start winning a few of them. That will come. So I see lots of clues and signs that he will be successful here.
As for him ripping the officials....good. They deserved it last night. And I'm sure his players like to see him going to bat for them when the officials are clearly wrong, just as I'm sure the Pirates like to see Clint Hurdle get into the umps face arguing a bad call once in a while.
