I am thinking 9-2 or 10-1 OOC and anywhere from 13-7 to 15-5 ACC. I am going to settle in on 10-1 and 14-6 for a total of 24-7 before the ACC tournament.

I am predicting the Mountain West games the living crap out of NET and gets half their league in.
The out 6-weeks math would have him back the first week in November. If correct it should have no effect--unless, perhaps it his shooting hand that was injured and he loses 3-ball accuracy.

Hopefully the 6-weeks prediction is for a full return to shooting form and accuracy.
I am not as optimistic. I read all the stuff on here about the transfers and then I see three lists with the top 100 portal transfers on it, and none are on the lists. I am optimistic sbout Cummings.

These are a few efficiency site preseason rankings. Torvik is now used for the selection process and has always been my favorite.

If this were to hold true, we would be on the bubble at seasons ends.
However,,
There are 3 important things going on in the preseason rankings with regard to Pitt and the 3 rankings above.
1) None of these sites even have Amsal Delalic on the Pitt roster. a massive, massive, omission for how good our team potentially is. Jon Rothstein a few months ago had him as a redshirt on our team. Most people associated or follow the Pitt program understand that this guy is going to be an immediate impact player. There are some people on here that think he is going to be an All ACC player.
2) Everybody associated with the Pitt program understands Brandin Cummings is way underrated. The Pitt basketball media account has constantly been hyping him for months. The secret will be out soon enough on Cummings.
3) The value of Cam Corhen. I think this kid is incredibly undervalued. He has one of the highest offensive efficiency power ratings in all of the power 6 and that is based on pure stats. And our head coach down at the acc media day said he thinks he has the talent to be All ACC.
If the following 3 things hold true, we should be way better than a bubble team which is what the preseason efficiency sites have us as.
The only hiccup in this is the broken shooting hand Delalic currently has.

If he is as good as some believe you have added a starting 6-8 wing who shoots over 40% from 3 point range and will be a double didgit scorer.

Torvik's Pitt Top Ten Contributors Prediction
---As is obvious Delalic is not listed.Delalic 24 years old and played as a pro in Europe averaging over 13 points per game. If he is as good as rumored he should be a starter and have similar stats to what he had as a pro in Europe--we are not dealing with high school stats to predict.
Other problem I see with this prediction: Corhen is shown with last year's minutes (at FSU). Capel has indicated he wants Corhen to play closer to 30 minutes/game. Also, Brandon Cummings is anticipated to be lot better than this prediction--If he plays 18 minutes he should be a double didgit scorer not 3.3 ppg.
