Now that season tickets are on sale to the public I went and looked and saw that the entire lower bowl and club sections are not available. Seeing how the renewal deadline is march 2nd, it will be interesting to see how many of these seats free up. I assume many of those Nitters who bought season tickets or mini packages last year won't be renewing.

Virtually the entire lower bowl is sold as season tickets even in non-PSU/ND years. Pitt fans and scalpers have it locked down.
Non-renewal turnover in the lower bowl likely won't be from one-time PSU non-renewals. Then again, they probably believe they bought more Pitt tickets last year than the entire capacity of Heinz.

I recall some of those "Nitiots" saying that they'd outnumber Pitt fans, 2-to-1, at Heinz Field.
Yeah, there were a scattering of lower bowl that opened the last couple years with the migration of prior ticket holder to the new North Club sections being a factor. I don't believe that many got to the general public sale phase and you won't find single game tickets, outside of a few random singles and returned visitor allotments.
