Season Tickets

I have family that want to purchase season tickets. They were looking online and there are no lower level or club seats available. This was very surprising to me, anyone else?

Not at all they were sold out last year and people are still renewing

I was under the impression that renewal's were due by last Friday. Nothing is ever clear with the Pitt ticket office.

I think the renewal deadline for football season tickets was 3/2/17 but they may have extended it ...... I don't know but maybe some lower level and club seats may open up in the near future as some probably won't renew .... I don't know if there is a waiting list for these type tickets.

I would suggest that you call the ticket office directly now and talk to them about your season ticket requests .... they should be able to answer all your questions.

I've been lucky over the years with the ticket office and had no problems (on-line or over the phone) but others over the years have complained..... I really don't know if they will have any tickets become available in the lower or club levels .... I also don't know if there is a waiting list for these seats if they do become available (some may have requested them already if they become available)..... best to call the ticket office directly as if some become available they could let you know.

The deadline just passed and they usually give a little extra time for people to still renew. I think it's a good policy. We do live in a digital world, but calling on the phone isn't a major inconvenience.

Plus I think they give current holders that requested the first chance to add and/or move their tickets after the renewal before making available.

I suspect this is correct... I have 7 lower bowl seats and placed an add request... no word either way yet from Ticket Office, so they may just be sorting through that process now.

My seats are 7 rows up on the visitors 45 yard line. There's a good bit of corporate owned seats in my section.

Call the ticket office...412-648-PITT...Explain your situation. They are waiting for people to "renew" from last year and then take care of any "new" requests from those people (i.e. I have 4 season tix already and would like to add an additional 2). After they take care of that, they will start working on "brand new" requests from folks on the outside.
I'd be shocked if all of the lower level and club seats will be renewed. I'd say if your family needs "2" together , you will have a good shot at getting them. If you need "4" together, that might be tougher.
