I agree with everything you say here.

But any decision or course of action on Capel’s future is simply that, about the ‘future’.

I’m still having a hard time seeing potential for the future without something positive in recruiting.

That's the key. I don't care if Capel wins 10 ACC games (no chance whatsoever he does that anyhow), it's what he's doing or not doing in recruiting that will matter next year and in the future. And all we're talking about now is the future.

Capel has produced nothing to date in recruits for the future and nothing is on the horizon that is even semi-possible. Maybe he's keeping it close to the vest and he has 4 or 5 5* guys lined up to sign LOI's. In this day and age when everything is out there and known because of social media, I doubt that's the case.

They wont be good. Probably should just look for transfer portal. He’s not getting anyone out of high school in this class worth a lick

I usually stay away from PSN but this was just an all around bad piece.

Capel lost out on all those high end kids because we wouldn’t pay? Give me a break. I hate to break it to them but you don’t get involved with these kids and make their final whatever list if you don’t know how the game is going to be played. Presumably it was between us, Will Wade, and a big check from Overtime Elite for Reid. Do you really believe we would’ve even been in that spot if there weren’t some benefits attached? Come on.

The kids we missed on were largely kids that we didn’t have a prayer at. Some were guys we got in on before they blew up, but one of the fatal flaws of this staff is wasting time on guys that just weren’t coming here and money had nothing to do with it.
