I’m pinned up at home drinking wine and watching Andrea Bocelli concert on PBS.
Never thought this is how I’d spend a Saturday night.

    anyone else doing anything interesting?

Im sure I can guess what Tommy’s doing!!

Im like Nicolson in the Shinning. I did watch some old 70s Steeler games and Showtime vs Celtics on YouTube. My wife heard me bitching and asked why are you bitching, you know the outcome.

Laker vs Celtics were the best! My Dad was a Celtics fan and I was a lakers fan. We watched those series together. Great times!

I haven’t watched the NBA since.
Btw, I watched UNC/Georgetown today (1982 final) and couldn’t believe how dominant James Worthy was in college. He was a man against boys. A better player in college than Jordan.

Drove with the family down to Cooper's Rock for a nice day outside. Easy to maintain social distancing outdoors! Picked up some beer at the new Grist House location in Collier as well.

I watched some of the classic basketball today, that was great. I am chilling....drinking bourbon, and just playing favorite You Tube clips on my TV of old music.

Right now, this is actually kind of relaxing and peaceful. In 2 weeks this is going to be impossible.

I work M-F from home, but I am not sure how long that will last...at some point everything will shut down.
Otherwise, 2 young ones that need to be watched, and more family members as we did emergency extract from NYC...thankfully on Tuesday.

I am making lasagna tomorrow. Can't wait. I got two dogs who enthusiastically will walk at any moment. I got enough wine to last me for weeks though booze and beer maybe only another 10 days or so.

I am missing sports. I ****ing lapped up Survivor the other night like it was the Final 4 just to have some competition I didn't already know the outcome of.

I'm working from home. They have deemed my department non-essential so we are relegated to working after 6pm to save VPN bandwidth. I'm happy I have a job and all but I don't know how long I can work the night shift without it affecting my sanity.

Trying to sleep a bit while coming to terms that’s it’s almost a certainty I’ll get infected based on my
    Job
But hoping it’s mild - I get tested early - and can spare my family .
The cytokine storm and lung damage is putting plenty of healthy young people into the icu

My wife is in healthcare too and I can tell has lots of anxiety regarding next week. Her network has already closed sites and concentrated staff at few locations...and the sh*t hasn't even started yet.
I hope the news is covering these young people getting into the ICU...might change some behavior

My eldest is home last night after classes were officially canceled at ND. Since he was in Chicago 5 days ago, we're all stuck at home for 2 weeks. He brought home everything he could to keep him occupied (Dart board?), for us, its a struggle. I got thru this week without the gym. Giving in and creating a workout in my very low ceiling basement. LOL. With minimal equipment. :(

Plus I'm cut off from my parents which has proven to be the biggest struggle. My kids will be fine, my parents?

Having said that, already opened 2 bottles of Chardonnay for the 3 of us. ;) Shallow but honest.

Thankfully I have 2 small puppers that keep her busy.

Not very good. Played a long time ago when I was a kid (In the church folk group). Basic chords. This past year I decided I wanted to pick it up again and work more in lead guitar solos and finger picking. Got a epiphone semi hollow body ES 339 and an acoustic electric with a peavey VP1 amp. Fun way to kill some time. Content on line is amazing now to learn more and find tabs and riffs as well as lessons.

Its a good time to be doing a house renovation. Although I'm not living in the house, I drive back and forth and spend the entire day working on it. Self-quarantined in 2 houses and a car - with a quick stop for groceries or Lowes/Home Depot while maintaining social distance rules and using wipes. So my routine has barely changed.

My very close friend owns a bar. I’ve been worried about him, as he’s a small business owner who operates day to day/week to week. He said his takeout orders are keeping him afloat and if it continues the way it is, he will be ok for a couple months.

I think I may take my government check, whatever that may be, and buy up gift certificates for local mom and pop businesses. Although, Restaurants seem like they may be in better shape than other businesses because at least they have the kitchens open and generating revenue (I feel for the servers and bartenders who have no income) so I’ll have to think this through.

I have been killed at work. First part of the week was getting the CDC posters up and trying to figure out what we should do to minimize risk. Since we make stuff, we can’t all just work from home. Thursday through Sat was figuring out wtf Wolf’s order meant and confirming we are life-sustaining.

Just glad I have a job and am doing my best to make sure as many of us have something to come back to when the dust settles. What is so pissing me off is the lack of ventilators and PPE. Accept risk of exposure for the manufacturing sector is exchange for making sure our providers ave what they need should be a no-brainer. Sadly, it doesn’t seem to be...
