Why were people so positive about Barnes running this search? Was it just his soccer hire? It just seems like there was a ton of faith that now, obviously, was unwarranted. Was it because he brought back Pitt script?

I just felt like I read a ton of "HE GETS IT" nonsense without anyone explaining why.

I admit I was duped big time - just a ton of good vibes when Gallagher came in and wrongly figured he hired a competent AD

Now I have no confidence in him either

Pretty clear that Barnes is in way over his head. The Miller fiasco was the first sign. And now, he has been completely duped by his former boss at the search firm.
