Pitt will be favored in 2 of our final 3 games, and all are winnable.

You need to get a grip. We have three losses to teams weith a combined record of 25-2 and all three ranked.
We don't historically play well against "speed" and since we right now have NONE of Narduzzi's recruits obviously teams like Louisville and Miami will have a field day against our defense. Only game I see us winning is Duke and that is very iffy.

But this team has a different feel to it than the past regimes. This years team will be the low point in the Narduzzi era and the next time these teams meet, we will witness a far more evenly matched contest.

Okay and if you reread my post I am not talking about the next time we play them. Obviously with Narduzzi at the helm hopefully upgrading recruiting I agree with you. I am talking about this season finishing up and I don't see us winning at the most, 1 more game.
We beat Miami last year in Miami with no more team speed than we have this year. And they weren't a team in as much disarray as they are this year.
And Louisville recruits worse than we do. We'll be favored in that game.
The real shame is they still allow you to post on any of these boards.

Yeah, they really do. Despite our turmoils, their recruiting rankings the past several years for their classes have been worse than ours.
Exactly how is the season a mirage? I think most realistic fans, (actual pitt fans, not nitter trolls looking to compromise a good season) were hoping to see a season that has promise for the future. Given the past few .500 seasons, a 7 or 8 win season is a success.
As for coaching up 3 stars, obviously it would be nice to have a higher ranked player, but I'd rather have a coach that can win with less than a coach that can't win with more.
Btw, did you notice your boy JF still doesn't have a win over a top 25 team? Are you going to tell me what a great coach he is again because he got vandy out of the cellar for 1 yr? Lol
Well I don't know how Louisville recruits but I watched a good portion of them dismantling Syracuse---something Pitt didn't do---and they can throw the ball which is never good for this defense
I don't see us losing any of our remaining games. We could, but a loss to Notre Dame and people thinking we're terrible now is laughable. This isn't the end of the world, we are nowhere near as talented as Notre Dame. Louisville, Duke, and Miami are much closer to our talent level and are all very winnable games.
Why would I do that? Are people not allowed to have any negative opinions on here? It's comical sometimes, when I am criticizing the team I am branded too negative. When I am excited and say positive things after the nice start I am now bipolar lol.
Seriously, to the board preachers on here(there are probably about 6-8 of you), allow people to express opinions good or bad and enjoy the lair. If you want stepford posters that only say "rah rah" stuff then go start your own board.
6-6 is good considering what Chryst left us with.......especially without Conner. Vegas is going to have is at 5-7. We're already better than that.
It's not that you are "branded" anything. It's that when Pitt wins you post that Pitt is the greatest and we should expect them to win pretty much every game the rest of the season. And when Pitt loses you post that Pitt stinks and probably won't win another game the rest of the season. There is no in between with you. Everything is either great or awful.
If you are looking for something to call "comical", try that.
You take a couple wins against mediocre talent, in FB or hoops, and project us as much greater than we are. Then you get mad at the team for not meeting your crazy predictions, to the point of declaring us worse than we are. Then we beat someone, and we are great again. Every year, rinse and repeat. Why not try to be just a little more balanced, not write in all caps like a lunatic, and not call for coaches heads because of them not meeting some odd projection you assigned to the team based on goofy evaluations. You are more than welcome to have an opinion, but when you act all crazy, people will likely comment on that, and won't forget that you just declared a team great, then sucks, then great, then sucks. It appears demented to most.
Seven different posters commented on you, from getting your head out of your ass, to being full of it. And It isn't just me, that's also part of your delusion. Seven people in this thread alone commented on it, yet you always single me out, even though this time I wasn't even the most critical.
You are free to post however you want. I have mostly just been ignoring you, because you apparently are who you are and either don't want to change, or just don't recognize how goofy you can be. But declaring us being able to easily beat ND to not winning any games the rest of the season makes you look like a goofball. That's about it.
