Jeter and Artis put the team on their back last night and were the reason that Pitt won this game tonight.
Mel was most effective offensive player on the court last night he did a great job playing to his strengths and allowing the action to come to him. He excelled in taking smart shots and finishing at the line. Great game from Mel picking up on a night when Mike Young was not his usual self.
Jeter brought the energy to this team. He made plays on both ends of the floor especially with his hustle plays. Did a tremendous job of keeping the ball alive on the offensive end of the floor and hit some big shots. On the defensive end of the floor felt he played aggressive and hit the boards hard. Really like what Jeter can bring to this team.
I know it was Western Carolina but that was a big win for Pitt in a game that they very easily could of lost but these two stepped up and led the team to victory. 10-1 is a nice start for this team as they are heading into ACC play.
