As we mentioned on Monday, Pitt WR coach Kevin Sherman stopped by Coffeyville Community College to check in on Juwann Winfree, the former four-star recruit/Maryland receiver who is spending this fall at Coffeyville. Sherman was at the school on Tuesday and Winfree spoke to him on the phone Tuesday night. It sounds like Pitt wants Winfree - like most recruits - to take an official visit after the season; that would mean probably the first or second week of December, since Winfree plans to enroll at a school in January, leaving him only a few weekends to work with in December.
