Shoop officially gone per multiple reports

Seriously, why would any player choose to go to a football program that the nation associates with the raping of boys by their most famous assistant coach, this is not going away it will be part of PSU forever. Couple that concept with the racist culture that exists in the school and community and it becomes mind boggling as to why athletes want to go there. Now, the head coach is a lightweight in terms of head coaching accomplishments and after pointing out the loyalty that exists in the program the HC coach fires his longtime assistant, and the DC wants out! Add to this, the truth that PSU will usually be a whipping boy to Michigan and tOSU and you have a very unfavorable place to play for championships.....I do believe that the Joe Paterno Statue will return so I guess they have that to look forward too.

The truth of the matter is that when it comes to recruiting, it's not about the past Sandusky sins and the cover-up; it's not about academics; it's not about anything but football.

The Nits have a good recruiter, and he's gonna attract a certain kind of kid - just like Narduzzi will attract a certain kind of kid. The loss of the two coordinators should play in Pitt's favor; surely, that should set-off alarms in the minds of anyone who's considering Nit U. We'll see.....
