Clearly both teams will have the same issue going into a short week. Both teams played a hard , physical game last Sat and have to get ready quickly for this week. Can't help but think there is a significant advantage being home for this game prep. UNC has to wrap up their prep on Wed night and I assume they travel here early Thursday morning for game time.
This gives Pitt a solid extra day to not only rest and rehab but to work in a familiar environment to get ready for a big game. I was at Chapel Hill last year and watched a Pitt Team do everything they possibly could to lose a game. Beside the final outcome, I thought Pitt really outplayed them and really should have walked away with a victory.
This game represents a potential huge turning point for HCPN and his Panthers. A victory Thursday night catapults them into serious National attention and could have a tremendous impact on recruiting.
