I feel like it's not discussed often enough how good our specialists ended up being this year. Many of us were ready to ride Kessman out of town after the BC game and WOW, how far has Kirk Christodoulou come since that fiasco in the rain versus those whose name we do not speak of!

Has there been any announcements about their potential returns? I'd think Kirk would fulfill his senior year, but you never know. And you'd think Kessman is a shoe-in for a camp invite if he's not drafted late, but you'd love to have him back. I'm not sure who is behind him?

Kessman’s successor will be Ben Sauls, a sophomore from Ohio. Was the 12th best kicking prospect in 2019 according to 247Sports. Career long in high school was a school-record from 55 yards.

If I remember correctly, they used a scholarship to get him so that says a lot about his potential.

Not only that; we got him as a flip from Iowa State. In fact, he was committed to three different schools (the other being Boston College) in high school.

I don’t follow much recruiting, but seems like he was highly sought after.
