Following the highs of winning the ACC Championship in 2021 we saw the high point of the Pitt football program. Following it up with 9 wins in 2022. Pitt follows the 20 wins in 2 years with a 3-9 season. I know everyone wants to harp on the portal and the exits but to me it is simple for Pitt to be relevant this day in college football you have to have a dude at QB a top 3 QB in your conference or you aren’t in the convo regardless what your roster looks like.
We don’t have that guy currently and I don’t know how long it takes Pitt to get another Kenny Pickett kind of guy to lead the program. It’s sad but the portal exits don’t even have me down we are coming off 3-9 there is enough depth on the roster to go 3-9 average QB play you are 6-6 you want to win 9-10 games annually go get elite QB guys
