All alumni have been surveyed for the first time. Please respond to the survey in general (good data for the University), and provide your opinion on the value of the athletics programs to the University, and the need to be ALL IN in its commitment to compete at the highest levels. Believe that athletics are the most tangible connection that the vast majority of alumni have to the University, and we should be clear that athletics execution should be held to the same standards as our academic execution. maybe it helps.

Voter education guide? Thanks for the suggestion, but I prefer Pitt deescalate Athletics.

Here, I believe, is a more useful test in responding to survey questions: "Which response, if acted upon, is more likely to increase the value of my diploma from The University of Pittsburgh"? There. Fixed.

The answer certainly wouldn't be post 451 times on an internet message board about athletics. I can tell you that

Well, just voting my self interest. The greater the value of my Pitt degree, the more options available. Why any Pitt grad wouldn't want the same for him/herself eludes me.

Just what I expected from someone from the left coast on an athletics board. Value of the diploma just fine back here in the burgh.

Yeah, because you aren't a Pitt fan. I am not sure why you are allowed to continue on this board. You have made it quite clear you have no interest in the success of Pitt's athletics.

I'm sorry you rely so heavily on your diploma value than actual accomplishments in your career.

Then, as others have asked, why are you here?

I mean, if you want Pitt to deescalate athletics because college sports is a cesspool, and you don't want Pitt to be part of it, I won't argue with you.
If it's because college sports is becoming an arms race and you don't think Pitt will ever have to resources to keep pace, I won't argue with that either.

However, I've seen you here popping your mouth whenever something goes wrong for the team; the bowl game in particular stands out. Touting this past season as "another disappointment" isn't consistent with your deescalate message; it sounds more like the meathead who think Pitt should tap into the endowment to build a new.......

Be cause @SVPanther is an ass and is only here to create trouble. He cant rely on his own ability so he needs the "value of is diploma" to increase.
