"Tight end Scott Orndoff secured a spot on the roster of the Orlando Apollos, and offensive lineman Jaryd Jones-Smith was able to do the same with the San Antonio Commanders. However, the highest concentration of former Panthers was on the roster of the San Diego Fleet, as wide receiver Dontez Ford, offensive lineman Brandon Hodges, defensive lineman Shakir Soto and punter Ryan Winslow were all listed among the team’s 52 players."

Good luck to them all. I can't blame anyone for chasing their dreams for leaving no stone unturned. I believe there is less regret saying "no I didn't make it, but I did everything I could to." then saying "I had a chance and I think I could have made it, but I stopped trying". They can always get on with their life's work but go for it while they can. Remember a few XFLer's made it to the NFL no reason why a few from this league won't either.

I saw AAF on my TV listings, two games weekend of February 9-10. I set my DVR, I'm interested to check it out. See if it's any different than the NFL style of play, plus I'm interested to see how many fans they get and if there's anyone I ever heard of on the rosters.
