That's a really good question. A strong running game this week against a great ND DL is going to be imperative.
As well as some help for Boyd with 4 to 5 design plays with Whitehead debut on Offense!
I've wanted to see Whitehead return a few punts ever since Boyd has had issues, which was during the 3rd game. He's am incredibly dynamic player with the ball in his hands.
Aliquippa, Central Valley and Hopewell Coaches told me the same thing last year when Whitehead went to Pitt as they were all dining in Sewickley! Still, waiting on Coach Pat & Chaney to figure it out?
We have to win the turnover battle. Temple was really looking like they had a ball hawk in the middle last night, but two Notre Dame INTs in the red zone. If we protect the ball and Notre Dame is careless, it could turn our way quickly. However, that Notre Dame QB is going to be a real challenge for us to defend, another dual threat QB.
I think it would have been publicized if he was. I'm saying he's done for the year.
Whitehead would be a huge plus on offense. ND is going to do the same thing UNC did to us. Blanket Boyd with double coverage and make someone else on offense make a play.
Hard to imagine we don't have a wide out that can step up.
if they double boyd they need to find the tight end in the middle where the safties are rotating away from to help with boyd
There is no way Conner plays this week. After an injury like that you don't just jump back into the lineup after a few days of practice & if he had already been practicing prior to now we would have heard about it.
