If you guys dont have anything good to say about Dixon or the team how about staying off the board? This team needs support of the fans and alum and not be bashed. We lost...it happens and any team on any given day can have it happen. Yes would a win have been great - we all wish that was the case! Dixon is a darn good coach and we are lucky to have him lets not forget his previous accomplishments and if he did it then he can still do it - hes rebuilding and though you cant comprehend that it takes time. He has put together a pretty scrappy team and yes they are gonna loose a few. We dont cheat or pay prostitutes or make lavish gifts or fudge grades - Dixon and Pitt have integrity and maybe that does not mean alot to some of you guys... but we never have had to worry about NCAA sanctions or scandal or any of the other crap these other schools have had to deal with. And personally .... I would rather have a coach and a team that has integrity and is above question than deal with the later and maybe in time some of the recuits will see that. Im tired of hearing cause you play for Duke you have an in for the NBA, there are Pitt players that have made it .... hard work and dedication and it did not take a Duke, Syracuse or North Carolina coach to get them there. This season isnt over and these players although not super stars chose to come to Pitt for the right reasons. This worlds priorities are messed up and maybe instead of beating down Dixon, the players, his recruiting, etc.... Maybe we should look to the one who controls it all and ask him to reward Pitt for the things that count and give our guys what they need, and belief in themselves the coaches the wisdom and forsite that they can make adjustments to win these games as they continue on this season. Aliitle more praying and asking for Gods help and alittle less Neying may go alot farther than you think. To the players... there are those of us out there that do believe and remember to include the Lord and his wisdom and help in your pre game rituals. Hail to Pitt !!! Shrug it off and lets get it done.
