is the best new name for the mixed drink we will brand?

Getting a Dodger Dog, Skyline Chilli or a crab sandwich in San Francisco, I propose Pitt's new signature drink is basically Captain Morgan and Coke with a lime and it's called the Panther Bite. Sure it's a Captain and Coke and Pittsburghers love it. You will get it in a special cup with a Panther biting a fan in the leg ( similar to when our mascot attacked a student in the 60's). They will all be waiting to be bought before kickoff to whip the crowd into a frenzy. Your buddy will no longer have to smuggle in a bag of booze and suffer an embarrassing spill in his pants.

This really is going to make for a memorable home field advantage. I can't wait to order that Panther Bite at the 89 degree, 90 % Humidity Noon kickoff for Villanova.

Some of you are really sad.....
I have been a season ticket holder for a long time and have a diverse group of friends. I can prove to you that going to a party with Adult Beverages is louder, more fun and in the case of football, creates a home field advantage.

I would enjoy Pitt having a home field advantage through any legal means. I want to be entertained, I don't need beverages to be entertained but it clearly helps with adults. Beverages have been served at sporting events since the Roman Empire.

It will also help with student attendance. For whatever reason, people love having a few beers at live sporting events. Its basically an American tradition. My stomach cringes when I see someone pay $8 for a beer but they do it and are happy to. Pitt fans are not drunks so while, sure alcohol will create the isolated idiot acting like a fool, it will generally liven the place up.

You mean the students who are 21 and older.

Hint- they card extensively at Heinz.

FWIW, I read an article saying that the Nits are considering the possibility of selling beer at their games. Imagine the revenue they'd produce with that many depressed fans drowning their sorrows?

Nits want to redo the erector set. Millions to downsize to a 90K Heinz. #90K. All for bathrooms, food, drinks and seats with backs. Lot more comfort for the tractor pulls and the dirt bike short courses.

LOL, yeah, pretty much fact. Go to a wedding reception with an open bar, compare it to a dry reception. At one, you are doing the chicken dance with your tie around your head, waking up the next morning with the bride's 16 year old hot sister. The other one, you are sipping coffee with old people, hoping to get your piece of cake soon so you can get the hell out of there and so you can catch the ending of an Alf rerun..

I never realized underage drinking, statutory rape, and possible incest were requirements for a good wedding. What have I been missing all these years?

...and more realistic attendance figures, too? ;)

Beaver stadium is a dump! The seats are also so far away from the field it is hard to close plays. Downsizing it by putting seat backs and adding bathrooms will not help the distance from the seat to the field!

Hold on...what did I miss?
Pitt is actually having booze n beer sales at all the concessions?

that darn "work" stuff got in the way of me paying attention to the site this week...
