Because I understood that post pandemic inflation was a worldwide issue caused by countries engaging in deficit spending in efforts to avoid complete economic collapse, demand/supply imbalances when things started to improve and destroyed or severely damaged supply chains. Biden managed to reduce inflation while avoiding a recession....and taxes didn't increase.
