That's a good question, Moe. I'd say Pitt was one of their bad losses, maybe their worst.

Quad 2 loss for Ohio State. Quad 1 loss for WVU. So, in short, I don't believe so. But it also goes to show that you don't exactly have to beat juggernauts to win a Quad 1 game. So the fact that we were 1-9 in Quad 1... not good. Of course, neither is 4-3 in Quad 2 or, especially, 5-3 in Quad 3.

I know how bad we (Pitt) were. I brought this up as one of the "bubble watch" websites (before the selections were made) called the loss by OSU was a "bad loss". Given that they finished at 17-15, too, was it that horrible? It took Wisc OT to beat us, and they played for the B1G championship. Will the B1G follow tradition and be eliminated by the Sweet Sixteen?

As for WVU, like others, I don't feel for them missing out on the play-in round given their horrible loss in the Big 12 tournament
