A little blurb from Brian Batko in the PG regarding Pitt's class (39th in the country according to Rivals)
"...by the Rivals numbers, Pitt has inked two four-star prospects, 14 three-stars and a couple of two-stars."
"In the ACC, the class slots in sixth, behind Clemson, Florida State, N.C. State, Virginia Tech and Virginia, the last two of which reside in Pitt’s Coastal Division. Nationally, it’s sandwiched by Big Ten outfits Iowa and Indiana, one year after finishing 36th in the team rankings with only one four-star and 20 three-star recruits."
I know I always aim super high, I get that. But can anybody honestly say that this class inspires real excitement? I mean it's an average class imo. The QB Beville looks promising, so does Carter. But I don't know to me it's another average class that really doesn't do much for me and I just don't think that these are the kinds of classes that can get us to beat the top teams. Top 10 classes? Yeah probably no. But I think Pitt should be able to get top 20-25 classes. We certainly need them.
