Don’t know anything about him, but it looks like PSU had a coaching change recently, so maybe it’s related to that?

Round Hill, VA is in NW Loudoun County not far from Harpers Ferry, WVA. Easy drive to Pittsburgh--shorter drive by at least 30 minutes than from DC.
As to why transfer from PSU?. It is maybe a someone said a change of coaches.
It is curious overall that we are getting these transfers in. Maybe this is the coach adding some needed quality depth? Wasn't that a principle shortcoming last year?
The Penn State kid pretty likely transferred because he wasn't playing, and wasn't going to play much, at Penn State. He played seven games as a freshman, sat out his sophomore season with an injury, and then played three games last season. He's in the same class as the kid who was their starting goalie most of the last two seasons, so his choices were most likely leave or sit on the bench.
Is this kid likely to start here? Is last years starter likely coming back? Peranda?
As far as I know Penaranda is coming back. And if he does I would think he would still be the starter.
