Pitt walked off to beat Virginia 3-2, while UNC was swept today in a DH by GT. Pitt is now 13-6 and UNC is 14-7 and we play UVA again tomorrow. The game to VT could end up killing us, but if we win tomorrow and take 2 of 3 from UL, we just need SU to take 1 from UNC next week.

Wow. Never expected GT to sweep them. I think Syracuse was 5-11 going into this week, so hoping for them to win one against UNC is a tall order. I’d be a lot more confident if UNC had to play FSU, like we did.
Today’s game was too close. I think the team was a little or maybe a lot overconfident after yesterday. We need to jump on them tomorrow.
