4-0 now with UCF again tomorrow. If they win tomorrow, they should get some votes in the next poll.
FWIW, Pitt was picked 7th (out of 11) in the ACC preseason poll, one point behind Virginia Tech in 6th but way ahead of the four teams behind them.
5-0 now. Beat UCF in extra innings 6-3. A two out, two strike, bases clearing double by Olivia Gray wins the game. Just about a new hero every game.
These are great players and better girls. Very class group, couldn't be happier with there start. Wait till G starts hitting bombs!!
I agree. G didn't do anything in these 5 games and they still beat good teams. Olivia struggled till she cleared the bases today in the 8th inning.
My soon to be 14 year old daughter and I went to their camp in December and she was mainly with the group guided by G, Olivia and Erin. The girls all seemed very nice and did a good job with the camp and made a very favorable impression on my daughter.

From a program perspective, this is an exciting early indication of the program building taking place for softball and that 2015 may not have been an anomaly.
It's going to be fun if our Olympic sports actually become competitive. I see good progress or potential for progress throughout the AD.
