Someone screen shot sad valley for their 107k weekly lie

Fans help build Programs by going to games, but not one fan ever won a game, and recruits that fall for playing before 100,000 are not as smart as recruits that go where they can play right away to learn to be a NFL Millionaire sooner not a NFL bust!

PSU has a Roster of 145 Players with more Walk-Ons, Pitt just 105 to 110?

Pitt has produced less NFL Players but far more Quality NFL All Pros and Record Setters Players than Penn State. While Penn State Players have been way more Busts!

Sitting that Bench in Beaver Stadium before 100,000 Fans does not teach you Football as playing at Pitt, so Penn State Program benefits by those Fans, but Pitt players benefit by doing far better in the NFL!

Smart Recruits and Players prefer making millions over Memories on a Bench in Beaver before 100,000 Fans that get too drink to even remember them and forget all about them when they bust in the NFL?

Hackenberg is flat out overrated. I said it ever since he was a high school prospect. Not a terrible QB by any means, but nowhere near as good as they claimed him to be coming out of HS. That said, if he goes to Houston he could make a career for himself. It's no coincidence his best year at PSU was as a freshman. Bill O'Brien does absolute miracles with quarterbacks. He got frickin' Matt McGloin into the NFL, and he was probably the worst QB in the country until O'Brien arrived at PSU.

Your dad probably thinks Joe didn't know either and that PSU is still nationally revelant. Do you guys still believe if you sail around the world you'll fall of the edge of the Earth too?

I bet he is a fan of someone else in basketball though....oh wait maybe he is trying to jump on the psu bandwagon in that too since they got a couple recruits

One day in the not too distant future we'll look back and 2 very important events in the coming rebirth of Pitt Football will be the hiring of Narduzzi and O'Brien leaving PSU for the NFL.

Fair??? Like fair on Thursday right? Because Pitts game filled over the ge as well

Because when they can't win the argument, that is the only card they have.

Agree with you but I honestly have no care whatsoever about their attendance. I don't know why it is continually discussed. Just to mention though, Illinois is a garbage football team. They thought Ron Zook was such a bad coach, they will never see a coach again at Illinois as good as him.

32-0 PSU if you're watching the game; crowd in the 90ks. Students, as usual were late coming in to a noon game and Illinois bought about 1,000 of their allotted tickets. Let's be fair.
First off... no one is watching the game.

Secondly... I saw the first few minutes, not knowing they were on espn2 until i was like 'eww, and changed to Auburn'... but the stadium wasnt even 1/3rd full... it was pathetic.

third... the game is on and you are on a Pitt site :) That shows you were your head is at

Just saw psu up 32-0 7 min classless ass Franklin goes for it on 4th and 2..in red zone eventually making it 38-0...cause 35 won't win it... What an ass

Looks like at first glance we had more fans Thursday night than the sad kitty lions
Can you link the screen shot? They show one of ours on their board constantly. Would just love to have one as a reply, even though I know you can't compare attendance.

Do you think Penn State will make the top 25 with us dropping out?

In your defense since psu has played 6 home games, two neutral site games and only one true road game this year your fan base has many more opportunities to see psu play close to home than Pitt fans have. So u have that excuse for the 100K being a lie yet again this week (then again psu is good with the fake slogans such as "success with honor") Still, Psu def has a bigger fan base but that's about it. The two teams have been about the same on the field this century thou, Pitt actually has a better winning percentage against top 25 competition the past 15 years, but your fan base never let facts get in the way of an argument or your false feelings of superiority before.

If he was really trying to run it up then why did he have all the back ups in for the entire 4th quarter. If he kicked it you would be whining he should have gone for it and just wanted points.
He should have kicked it, your kicker could use the exercise, and the practice!

I would suggest that they tarp the upper decks and put cardboard cutouts of paterno in the lower deck empty seats. I know
that they consider the lilly white seats as fans! How else can they count this as a sellout?

Tiger Paul thanks for the find. Some nitter fans I know claim a solid 90000. Not even close.

Also hard to see but in the right, those blue seats in the upper deck were completely empty

Of course they do. They search for any facts they can find that support their argument by only highlighting the points that support that and leaving out whatever goes against them. For a fanbase so hellbent on football, most of them have no football knowledge whatsoever.

So you laugh at me for pointing out a blatant lie that tiger Paul has evidence of, but you guys will still 107 everyone to death. Must be your psu, I mean Shippensburg education.

Bleachers also hide it a bit more as people spread out more comfortably. I remember Michigan increased their capacity by painting more numbers on the bleachers and squeezed everyone tighter.

A roster of 145 with walk-ons! How many of these kids are getting monies outside of a football scholarship to a be a walk-on?

Haha. 90000 is what you think? And pantherzoo, you ain't fooling anyone here

and if you really want honesty, you want to know what is wrong with our fanbase? Look at the views at this thread...almost 1800 views. Look at the views on the other Penn State thread...almost 4200 views. The rest of the threads on this board are around 600 views. That's a shame because we have a good team this year.
Could not agree more. I rarely talk about attendance because I don't really care. I only comment on the Penn State threads because I'm just sickened that people talk about Penn State football. Some of these threads just go on for way too long though.

Was suspicious of pantherzoo from the getgo. Also, that pitt4424 on the BWI board is a little too kissass to PSU. I think he is a PSU fan, disguising himself as a Pitt one. It's ok to be complimentary, and play devil's advocate, but sometimes tone, and level of concern in addition to content, is a giveaway.

Here is a link to the weekly BWI thread talking about the attendance> Thread title claims "many empty seats." Other comments inthe thread explain "The upper decks were sparse." and "about 80 percent capacity by the second quarter."

The Cult is also whining that the school "needs to quit selling season tickets to branch campuses." BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Google shows 95,973 students enrolled at Penn State throughout their system.compared to 34,934 for Pitt. PSU has over 60,000 students more than Pitt, and they still can't reach the "107,000 strong" bullshit.
