Something about Pitt diamond teams at GT

Earlier in the year the softball team led 9-0 going to the bottom of the 2nd inning, they lost 18-9 in a mercy-shortened game.

Today the baseball team had a 6-0 lead going to the bottom of the 2nd at #6 GT, and they lost 12-7, now being officially eliminated from the ACC Baseball Tourney (VT is the only other team to not make it).

Yanni drove in 8 with 3 HRs (one a grand slam) and the Panthers won 9-3 to take the final game of the series at #6 GT. Season ended at 21-34 and 8-22 in ACC.

I said it a week or two ago but I think it still applies. The team was getting better as the season went on. Which is a good sign for the future, if we can recruit enough talent.
