In their first real test of the season, they showed up. I loved everything I saw. But a few things to keep in mind as we head into ACC play:
1) Iowa is a power offense with average speed and a program that Duzz and Co are familiar with
2) Our ACC opponents are, for the most part, faster, more spread-oriented offensively and could expose our lack of speed at MLB and Money (when Bam isn't in the game)
3) Narduzzi and most of his staff are new to the ACC and may (or may not) have a steep learning curve against them similar to HCPC's B1G flavored staff.
4) The emergence of Wirginis and Bam are as important as the health of our DEs in the outcome of air ACC schedule because I have a feeling we'll need the D to bail us out early on.
Can't wait to see what happens in conference play. I have a good feeling about this staff. The way these kids are executing and playing clean is so refreshing in a program mired in stagnant coaching and leadership for so many decades.
