I know that the game was ugly at times, clearly not our best on defense today. But this type of win is so much better for the team culture than a blowout victory. Narduzzi is winning these guys over. He is eliminating the passive and pessimistic attitudes from the past, and making these kids believers. There has always been talent at Pitt, just check the NFL rosters. But if Coach can get them mentally tough and playing with confidence, then we have a bright future. It was great to see the players and coaches reactions after the final play. Great reward for all the hard work.
