Hey All,
In January i purchased two tickets in the new South Club section of Heinz Field. At that time i was invoiced and paid $695.00. Included in that amount were handling fees and the costs of the ticket.
I have emails, invoices, and receipts that reference this amount and bang, I was excited to be a season ticket holder.
Fast forward until today, when i get a call from the ticket office telling me that they forgot to charge me an additional $250.00 in fees. The rep. explained that he failed to tell me (and subsequently charge me) that this additional amount (or donation as he was calling it.) He was pretty forward with asking that the $250 is paid before the weekend or I run the risk of losing my seats. At this time, no additional options were given but he said he would explore them and call me back tomorrow.
$250.00 isn't exactly pocket change. Should i put up a fight in paying this, or is what he is saying valid and maybe an honest mistake ? As stated, all emails/invoices i have from the rep make no mention of the additional $250 and my initial reaction is that he never disclosed this amount to me up front.
I feel like i was deceived...
