Speculation?

He would sure fit the mold of what the staff targeted last off-season: players from big programs who have the talent/athleticism/measurables, etc.

Missed practice time this year with kidney stones, back spasms and COVID.

Looks like he would have been at Oak Hill and Prolific Prep when Dior was at each school.

Sounds like some weird Blake Hinson vibes with random time missed. Would 100% take a risk on this one/.

I don’t know anything about him but seems like it’d be a big get. Is it odd that he is from Durham, NC but neither UNC nor Duke offered a scholarship?

The only odd thing is that Pitt is in the running for a 5 star player with 4 years of eligibility left. It would be even more odd if we actually get him. Her;es hoping.

This is off topic but I am genuinely interested in where Caleb Love ends up. And this is solely based off of what seemed to be a dysfunctional UNC locker room where some of the fingers pointed towards him. And I certainly don't know the story but am interested in where this talented kid goes.

Besides the Covid these sound like old man ailments not kid stuff. Does he have Goat too?

If he’d have left after last year it would have been the first round of the NBA draft. Now all bets are off for him. He’s damaged goods. As a coach trying to build a cohesive team and win games I’d think hard about whether his talent justifies the potential toxicity.

Why do you think he has "potential toxicity"? He played for the national championship last year. Toxic players don't usually do that.

What about the other rumors all season long?
All untrue???

Being with Dior at two schools he was kicked out of for fighting teammates is not a good thing to land one of his former teammates

Xavier Johnson was unaffected and you can trace alot of the crap that happened here to him.

How did they do this year?

Love shot every time he touched it. 37% from the field, 29% from 3.

One of the lowest efficiency, most selfish, low basketball IQ players I've ever seen--and that was just last year. He took selfish play to a new level this year.

Even if you don't believe the rumors about his beef with RJ Davis.

I remember when this board didn't believe those rumors about the Pitt locker room either. Because, wouldn't you know, the players involved denied them.

100% true and verified by a friend's daughter who was in their friend group. Not "the girl" but friends with all parties involved.

Nice spin.
