ranked the Pitt-Penn St rivalry No1 in the country around 1985. No question! This game was usually scheduled the day after Thanksgiving and moved to Saturday. So nothing Terry Smith says can change that. People (recruits) grew up choosing one school or the other. The abscense of this game makes it easier for other schools to come in and take PA kids away.

Terry Smith couldn't win while he was recruiting a high school football team so I'm not too worried about what he says.
