I had a bad feeling when I read that Barnes filled the Utah State position last year by promoting a career assistant coach and in the process had interviewed Brad Underwood after his 2nd successful season at SFA. Maybe there were other circumstances, maybe Underwood turned them down, ....? And the coach, this year, got into a pissing contest with one of their top players who wanted to transfer a la Jeter. Priceless. I'm starting to believe that this Barnes is a basketball guy is just a media hype - starting to look like an empty suit. Those connects to the search firm, Vandy, past boss, are just head shaking. Looks like Pitt might have found it's next SteveP. God forbid Narduzzi leaves.

From the PG this morning...."sources" told the PG that Pitt liked Stallings because he was good with players that weren't top 100 talent......Way to fire up the fan base Barnes. If this is true, I will focus my attention, and ticket and donation $, on football. You really have to question Barnes' and Gallagher's sanity on this one.

We will go from being largely ignored nationally to being a laughingstock - great strategy!

-Did you read any of the links I posted? This coach quit on his own team this year and admitted to the AD was a failure.
