OK. I had planned to go with my son. But my investment in Pitt football is paying dividends.
As all my followers know (and at last count I had zero followers), I got turned onto Pitt football by my older brother and the kindness of my Dad's friend who used to take a station wagon load of us from Ohio to the games. I can still see TD take that swing pass from Cavenaugh to the house in the glorious season that was TDs junior year.
So I get an email from the mom of my son's friend whom I took to games this year.
Would I take him and her daughter to the spring game?
Of course I will but only if we get there early, let me fire up the grill and have some fun.
