but anyway, I was watching the American Experience on PBS last night about the space program leading up to the moon landing and a series of headlines of the event were shown...

Pitt Beats Trojans 20-14 was above the fold along with the earth shattering news...guessing it was an LA paper...

Actually Penn State lost to Army that week. I had to make it Post Gazette-ish.

4-6 to 6-4 not much different than 5-7 to 8-5. At least in 1956 they finished ranked.
